How do I talk to tower in Sopwith Camel

Trying to figure out how to get ATC communication in the Sopwith Camel, I have allready installed a radio, now what?

Hi,

You'll need to have ATC turned on in the Options>Setting menu, then open the ATC window with the ' (apostrophe) key.  You'll then get the option to call the tower etc. and auto-tune to the right frequency.

Yeah, I got that part, but when I bring the atc window up and try to contact the tower, there is no response. It doesn't let me talk either.

My guess, you programmed a panel mounted radio into your panel.cfg

Just like in the real world, a panel mounted radio must have a power supply.

This is done in the [Electrical] and [Radios] sections of the 'aircraft.cfg' file. Edit the section like this.

[electrical]
max_battery_voltage =24
generator_alternator_voltage = 24
