hey Craig,
taxiing is one of the easiest aspects of flying. use you rudder peddals to steer right or left. for pushback, the default key is shift+P. dont use too much thrust just set it so that the aircraft keeps rolling and use your brakes when going too fast, and remember never go really fast while taxiing. about 20 kts should be maximum.

hope this helps

Happy Flying,
Ashar

Assuming that you may not have rudder pedals (I do not) use the left & right brakes f11 left, f12 right, to steer and as stated, drive slowly!

Sorry Enola, but as both someone who taxis a plane both in real life and in fs, I must disagree. Taxiing is in fact one of the hardest things to master in aviation. It requires practice. I didn't learn how to taxi in fs until I reverted from my beloved jets to the Kingair and got practice controlling speed without autothrottle.  It's all just practice.  ;)

it's harder to taxi a small 172 than a 737.

So I've heard-I still wouldn't label it as "easy".  At least not until you get plenty of taxi time in.
