Currently I tried to fly the Learjet from NY to Dublin. However I run out of fuel en route. Shouldn't the Learjet be able to make this distance?

Did you have full fuel all the way? It may seem like an obvious question, but you should check the simple things first.  ;)

As far as I know, the Lear 45 only has about an 1800-2000nm range(when accounting for IFR reserves). You might want to get your globe out and check the distance.

If u are talking about the Lear 45.
Then climb between 42000 or 45000 feet and cruise at .81.
