this is pobably a stupid question but can anybody tell me how can i change where i start the game from.every time i start at the end of the runway with engines running.i would like to start from a parking spot or gate with engines off.can anybody please help me?

I don't know how you start with the engines off but you can change where you start by first selecting the airport you want to fly from, then in the bottom left hand corner (still in the select airport screen) click on the drop down menu and providing the airport has parking gates and such you select one and start from the gates.

After you have started at the gate turn off your engines, lights, avionics and any other systems you want off when the flight starts.

Save the flight.  Alt-Flights-Save flight or ; (semicolon).

End the flight to get back to the main menu.  Go to the Select A Flight menu and scroll down the list of saved flights to find the one you just saved.

Click the box that says "Make this the default flight".
