Landing gear on helos {PLEASE HELP}

Hello
Please help.All my helicopters with landing gear have a problem.the landing gear does not want to go in.i have tried using the shortcut key on the keyboard as well as the lever on the panel,but the landing gear stays extracted........what dio i do????pleeeaaase help.

I think this is a bug in the program.

which system,my pc or the game itself,and is there something i can do to fix it?

It's a known bug with retractable gear helos in FS2002. Try pausing the sim, then hit the G key. Not ideal but that's the only way over it I know.

Thanx guys.now i got a new problem.i downloaded the b-52 and it works fine with the default panel,but when i install the b-52 panel then the whole game freezez in about 10 minutes of flight.any suggestions anyone?please help?i dont want to use another panel.

If its an FS9 aircraft and/or panel, it might not work.
Or there may be an issue with your graphics card. Make sure you have the latest drivers for it.

Got all the lattest drivers and i downloaded it from the flight simulator 2002 downloads area.

It still sounds like a panel problem.
As a temporary measure, switch to the default Cessna panel.
If the problem goes away then it IS the panel.
Switch back to the B-52 panel and edit the panel.cfg file by commenting out each gauge in turn by putting // in front each gaugenn= line. You will have to keep switching between the B-52 and another aircraft for each change and it will take a long time but you will track down the bad gauge.
Then you can tell us how to fix it. :-)
