CRJ-200 receiving error on arrival

I recently downloaded the projectopensky CRJ-200.  What a beautiful piece of equipment.  I love to sit and watch all the moving parts.  Anyway, my issue is when I arrive at my destination and contact the airport's tower for landing instructions FS2002 locks up and I get a Microsoft Error Report message.  Happens every time.

Any thoughts?

I also have another question.  With both the CRJ-200 and the Learjet, the documentation list the cruising speed at 350kts, but if I get over 300 IAS I start getting an Overspeed warning.  I don't understand why.

Thank you for any help you can give me on these issues.

Does this happen at any air port & do other planes have the same problem at that airport.
If this is happening every where then I would contact project open sky to see if they are aware of the problem. But I can not figure why it would wait to crash at that time and no where else. It makes me think the problem is some where else and not the aircraft.
I for one am at a loss as to why this would only happen at approach to a airport and no where else. It just does not make a whole lot of since for that to happen. But crazier things happen.
Let us know if you find out what is causing this I am sure others might have or want the aircraft but not if it has some kind of problem.
I have two crj's but I do not think I have the

Thank you for your reply.  It happens at every airport, and only with the CRJ-200.  It happens when I contact the airport's tower.  I contact the tower and annouce my landing intentions.  The tower begins to respond and the ATC speech becomes distorted.  Then the game frezzes and I get the MS Error Report message.  I have landed the CRJ-200 without contacting the tower and it did not lock up.  Of course the ATC does not appreciate that very much.

1. Happens at every airport.
2. Only with the CRJ-200.
3. It does not happen with anyother aircraft.

That is by far the strangest thing I have heard of.
Have you compared the aircraft cfg file with that of one that works there might be some problem there. Pay extra attention to any line with the word ATC in it maybe there is a spelling error there.
Other than that I can not think of anything else I would try to contact project opensky to see if they have a answer.
I just thought of something are you able to talk to the tower or ground while on the ground.
If this only happens while flying I do not have a clue as to why
I for one would like to know what is causing this
keep us informed.

I have checked out one of projects opensky crjs I downloaded a comair delta connection. First of all from there disclaimer it is for fs2004 only. So if you are trying to use it in fs2002 then that could be the problem. The one I downloaded did not have the poblem you had, but I did not like the way it handled on the ground every time you went around a corner it would tip to the opposite side. I tried at several air ports and got the same results this plane is now in my aircraft graveyard.
I do not expect a lot out of a airplane but the one thing I can not stand is one that does not taxi well. I know that I could change the contact points and probably solve this problem. But I feel like that is something I should not have to do. I for one was dissapointed with this craft. :(
