Is it possible to change....

Postby stiz » Wed Aug 25, 2004 7:36 am

...the zoom in the 2D cockpit view on the stock aircraft? I just find it really annoying that the views have been zoomed as if you want to go siteseeing you see something good in the panel then switch to side and its not there, then you see it but closer than before.

Also its not like the pilots zoom in when they look behind them is it. >:(

Any help would be appricated.

I have found this problem but it only happens to eyepoints. Thats if we are talking about the same things! I dont think i've come across this.

Not sure if this is what you mean,  ???  but you can try it and see.  In settings, controls, assignments check to see if your are set up in "increase selection slightly" and "decrease selection slightly."  If not, I assigned my keyboard up/down arrows to these commands and it holds your cockpit view at the distance you choose or you can zoom in or out at any time, in any view.  Hope this helps.  :)

It is possible to change the eyepoint levels, zoom, and directions of each view in your panel.cfg files

By adding 'VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=1.00' to your VIEWS section, your zoom will be set to 1
