Can someone tell me what lights are to be on under 10,000FT? Day and night. Is the just the strobe suposed to be on when flying above 10,000FT? I usualy have the landing lights on when taking off night or day up to 10,000FT, then just have the strobe on in the daytime.
Whats the procedure?
Thanks.

Landing lights ON below 10.000 (turn them on upon take-off clearance)
Lights that should be ON during the flight:
Strobe ON (no matter what altitude, the light is there to make it easier for other aircrafts to get a visual on you, switch ON when entering the runway)
Anti collision ON (upper/lower red strobes; 1 per second says "engine start or run)
Navigation lights (position lights) ON, turn these on when aircraft has elctrical power, ie APU or GPU
Wing lights: Illuminates leading edge to scan for ice, not necessary to be ON

word of caution about the strobes at night in clouds they can night blind you so you might not want them on.
