Need advice on how to move cockpit eyepoints.      Have made all the recommended keystrokes but nothing happens.      Anyone have any ideas?

In addition to the commands CraigL gave you, uou can use CTRL+SHIFT+BACKSPACE to view left and CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to view right.

My manual tells me CTRL+BACKSPACE moves the eyepoint forward and CTRL+ENTER moves it back.  I don't remember ever using these commands.

If you would like a list of all of the default key commands email me.  It's a 37k .doc file.

You can move the eyepoint permanently if you find yourself using keystrokes to move it on a routine basis. You can do this by changing the location parameters in [views] in the aircraft.cfg file. Also, in the panel.cfg file for the panel you're using, you can raise the seat and see more of the runway by inserting VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= 4,00, 0.00, 0.00 into the [views] section, if it's not already there. Replace the '4' figure with one that suits you - the higher the figure, the higher you sit.

Don't forget to make backups first.

And don't forget the eyepoint only works in the Virtual Cockpit.

no it doesnt. in the 2d view, they move your seat up and down so you can see over the panel a little easier. ;)

Thanks Andy.       Why didn't Microsoft make this clear?
I know how to move the seat up and down, but I didn't know that eyepoints related to the virtual cockpit.
