Hey People
I was wondering when landing where do u people line the middle of the run way up to on the planes panel?

Oh and i can never seem to land n e good so n e tips would be very help full. Thanks

Get lined up first of all on your ILS then look at the runway and memorise where the centre line is, then it just comes to you evreytime.

Basically, line in up 'in front' of yourself. As you are 'Captain' and sit on the left, from some way out, you should therefore always line it up approx at the centre of the left half of the panel.

hasn't anyone noticed that in the B737 cockpit there's a little marker just above the NAV/GPS switch???  :-/

There isnt anything better than that to bring her down perfectly centered...  

As a last resort you could go to ALT/VIEWS/OPTIONS/ menu and engage the centerline V (either the small one or the large one). This will give you pitch information as well as enable you to stay on the centerline. This will work with all airplanes.

There is a very simple visual method that you use in real aircraft and  can be used in the sim as well.

In the real plane, when it is sitting at the end of the runway, lined up and ready for takeoff, simply note a spot on the glareshield(panel, dash,  windshield etc.) that is aligned visually with the runway centerline. Use this point while landing to do the same.

There is no sure point of centerlines since planes can all have different viewpoints.
