Reflections in Geforce 4 cards

Postby packercolinl » Sat Apr 10, 2004 2:03 am

I'm just going through one of those rebuilding exercises we all love and enjoy when the program decides it don't want to play no more.

I've managed to salvage a lot but I'm missing information on enabling reflections on Geforce cards.

It was posted on this forum some time back but I can't locate it using search(asking the wrong questions again no doubt ::))

Any help??

Cheers and thanks,
Colin

Depending which card you have, add one of the following lines to your diplay.cfg file at the end of the GeForce 2 section:

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 460
[000010DE:00000170]
DriverValidate2=1

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440
[000010DE:00000171]
DriverValidate2=1

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420
[000010DE:00000172]
DriverValidate2=1

And what's wrong with Marmalade??

Thanks Ozzy but after a few hours I am finally,
WAHOO, back in the air.

I'm not sure what it was but I found my texture,scenery and aircraft files multiplying along with other files well removed from FS.

With 60Gb I found I only had 5% storage left, ???

A major culling took place after a restore,a reinstallation of FS and a reinstall of my favourite A/C.(310 Cessna)

FINALLY got a result!!

Cheers and thanks for the offer of assistance :)

I'm very sorry I haven't replied, i've had more important thing lately. But I fixed the reflections problem by Re-installing fs. I hope i didn't cause any trouble by not replying for so long...Thanks.
