All of a sudden when trying to start FS2002, I get a message that I am missing scenery file (add-on) in area 121.
I did a file search for this file and it's on my computer.
Why am I getting this message and if it means nothing how do I get rid of it? Other than having to click OK everytime.
Thanks,
Chief

Take a close look at your scenery cfg file found in the FS2002 folder. You will see entries in it that start with AREA 01 layer 01 & count down. Scroll down untill you see the entry for AREA 121 It is this scenery that is missing. If you deleted a scenery file outside of FS2002 then you need to remove this entry in the scenery cfg file.The way you should remove unwanted scenery is to do it while in fs2002. Goto the scenery file while in fs2002 then remove the scenery from the list shut down fs2002 then remove the file from the folder. Untill you remove the entry from the scenery cfg file you will continue to get this message.

I just checked this in my own FS2002. Area.121 is the Addon Scenery folder itself. This is activated by default.
[Area.121]
Title=Addon Scenery
Local=Addon Scenery
Active=TRUE
Layer=121
Required=FALSE
Remote=
Create a new folder in the FS2002\Addon Scenery folder & rename it to Scenery. I think that should fix it. I suspect you deleted this folder when installing 3rd party scenery.
