Was flying a Cessna Citation X the other day from Dupage Airport in Illinois to Logan in Boston. I'm at 32,000 cruising along when somwhere over Ohio ATC announces a Boeing MD-80 also at 32,000 at my 12 O'Clock "Less then one mile".  Next thing I know The airliner is cutting across my nose close enough to count the rivets!  Talk about a near miss, If this was real life some Air Controller would be getting hauled in for a drug test I would imagine. This ever happen to anyone else?

Thats because when it say's less than one mile its tell you that the plane is not even a mile away and probably even closer. Bascally, if it is less than one mile then its anything from a mile away to a millimeter. :P ;)

That happens to me all of the time! It has even happened in real life! It did not happen in controlled airspace, I was in the traffic pattern.
