Can anyone tell me

A. Where I can find a tutorial on how to make splash screens and install them?

Failing that

B. Tell me how to do it?

I've checked out the help pages and can't seem to find anything.

cheers in advance

You need a painting program like PSP or Photoshop that supports layers :)

You will also need a Splash Screen Template 8)

Here's one I create a few months back ;D

I had a trial version of PSP8 but it ran out so what are some good free programs for this type of thing?

The latest versions of PSP "try or buy" run out after 30 days...
...so you generally un-install it... ::)...!

If you have any old Computer magazine cover disks lying around, they will probably contain a free version of Paint Shop Pro 4...which goes on forever, at least my copy does...!
I tried a search for a free PSP 4 download, but couldn't find one...have a look, and give it a try... ;)...!

Cheers all...!

Paul.
