I have fs 2004 installed. I also have 2002 discs. How can I put planes off 2002 on to 2004 direct from disc? and which disc on 2002 are the planes on. Thanks

Hi Jacdot. I really see no advantage in doing this. Is there a particular FS2002 default you wish to have in FS9? If you really want to do it I believe the aircraft should be in Aircraft.cab on FS2002 CD-1. If you install them all it's possible that some would conflict with the FS9 defaults unless you edit the Aircraft.cfg entries.

Well the planes are on disk1 of fs2002 but the only problem is most of them wont work correctly. They will have missing gear or holes were the engine fans should be or both. It is trail & error
But you can get most of the fs2002 planes that have been converted for fs2004 I liked the c182RG in fs2002
They now have that for fs2004

If it was me I would not bother with moving planes from fs2002 but instead look for their conterpart for fs2004. 8)

Wouldn't you just want to search for your favorite livery jet?

I think this would only be a problem with earlier 3rd party aircraft created with AF99 or FSDS1 & animated with Aircraft Animator. None of the M$ defaults were ever created with these applications. The animations all work correctly when the aircraft are used as AI traffic in FS2002 so there is no reason they would not be compatible with FS9. IMHO

Thank you all for your advice. I will forget the idea, just thought I could get Concord. Jackdot.

I've never tried, but I think it's a safe bet that there are dozens of Concorde's available 'round the web.

FS2002 doesn't include Concorde anyway. That was in FS2000. As Scott points out there are several 3rd party examples posted here & on other sites.

Oooh, Hagar, you're right. I never even realized what I was saying. Just goes to show how frequently I used the stock hangar in 2k2. lol
