I don't believe it is possible. I recall trying to load FS98 I think and getting a message saying that it would not load because a newer version was installed.

File swapping was also a subject here a while back and those with much more knowledge than me(not hard)say it can't be done(unless you're an M$ programmer!)

Cheers

Sorry ::) The short answer is uninstall FS2004.

All the M$ sims are completely unrelated separate programs. At one time I had FS98 + 2 installs of CFS1, FS2000, 4 x CFS2, 2 x FS2002 & FS9 all running quite happily alongside each other. I suggest you try reinstalling FS2002.

PS. I had all sorts of problems running FS9 when I first installed it as there was some sort of conflict with my existing install of FS2002. The same thing happened with CFS3 & CFS2. Installing the CFS3 & FS9 No-CD patches fixed it for me in both cases. I read somewhere that this conflict was resolved with the latest DirectX 9.0b. If you don't have it installed you might like to try it. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=141D5F9E-07C1-462A-BAEF-5EAB5C851CF5&displaylang=en

Never thought about it, but I put the no-CD patches in as a matter of course. :)

Probably why it works for me.
