Another Graphics Question

I am running a    AMD Athlon (tm) XP 2500+
1.84 GHz
1.0 GB of RAM
Windows XP
and a Nividia GeForce Ti 4200 Video Card

My question is ......... the leading edges of the wings on some airplanes are double and the leading edge of the top of the dash in the cockpit are a bit saw toothed. The runway graphics are also a bit sawtoothed. I have the settings for aircraft maxed out as well as the scenery. It doesn't seem to matter if the antialasing  is on or off. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to fine tune this video card  for better display.

Thanks

Pickup

Have you tried turning the anti aliasing settings on/up in the Nvidia video settings also?

Hiya Pickup. I am not home at my PC right now, so I am not sure if this is the exact way but give it a try!

On your desktop, right click My Computer.
Now, if I remember correctly, there are tabs on the screen . Click on "Graphics" or something like that. Your video card should pop up. ow float your mouse someplace over a tab and a sub menu will pop out! There are video card settings in there, including ant aliasing which is where the "jaggies" or "sawtooth" look comes from. I know this really does not make sense, but I am at work and this machine is stripped for office tasks,..not like mine at home! Good luck!

Thanks for your help ,

I right clicked on my computor, left clicked on properties and clicked on Advanced and then clicked on visual effects settings.
A page comes up that says Perormance options, but I don't see any anti aliasing.
I must be in the wrong area.

Try this.
Right click on the desktop.
Click on Properties.
Click on Settings tab.
Click on Advanced..
Click on GeForce Ti 4200 tab..
Click on Performance and Quality.

See if that works.
