Doing Flight plans

Postby jakob » Sun Mar 14, 2004 4:01 am

Hello, Never really create flight plans. So I want  to start now that I have a little time for simulator. I was reading instructions on how to do this. I have selected my departure and destination and so forth. I click to see the way points. What do I do next? Do I click on load or save? I see instructions say to click "open" in order to load plan but I don't see open anywhere. Thank you much, jakob

Plot the flightplan, choose your cruize altitude and then save it. Make sure your aircraft is located at departure airport :)

That should be it.

Where can one read more in detail how to create flight plans?
The only flight plans I have used is the one on simulator, and that is so simple just from one airport to another with flight alttitude,  no way points etc?
Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Chief

Theres a little box when your making the plan. BTW, if I understood, you couldn't find the flight planner. It's under 'Create a Flight'.

In the flightplanner, you can select your own waypoints by dragging the red line around ;)
