how to use added scenery?

Postby satz » Sun Mar 14, 2004 7:04 pm

Hi all
yet another newbie Q from me!

Hope some kind soul/s will help...

I've added some scenery and appear to have correctly done it through scenery library/add.

It shows up in the "area list" as priority 1 (and is checked in the box)

However, how do I then 'use' the scenery?  I cannot seem to see any option for it....

The scenery I added was for Mumbai, India.   But it doesn't show up in the 'airport' list....

many thanks again

Hi Satz,

If the new scenery includes new airports you wish to fly from, go to the Go To Airport screen, click on the 'search add-on scenery' button, lower right corner.

Otherwise the new scenery should show up when you fly from either of the  2 default airports in that area.

Cheers'

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

thanks Dave

now I just have to work out where Mumbai city is in relation to the airport!!!   I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Speaking of which...is there a quick 'guide' to basic navigation between airports in Fs2002?

cheers
