:-[HI GUYS, COULD ANYONE HELP WITH MY PROBLEM!!
I FORMATTED MY DRIVE, AND RE-INSTALLED FS2002.
TRYING TO MINIMISE THE JOB WITH ALL THE SCENERY, PLANES, GAUGES, FLIGHTS, ETC, I SAVED THEM, AND PUT THEM BACK IN AFTER THE NEW INSTALL, BY SAY DELETING  "SCENERY" AND PUTTING THE SAVED SCENERY FILE BACK IN.
MOST EVERYTHING WORKING O.K. EXCEPT IN MY SCENERY I GET LOTS OF WHAT APPEAR TO BE 3 DIMENSIONAL CROSSES ALL OVER THE GROUND.
I TRIED REDUCING THE AUTOGEN SLIDERS, BUT STILL HAVE THEM.
ANYONE KNOW WHAT I STUFFED UP.
REGARDS, RAJAH.

Hi Rajar,

This problem sounds simular to a recent issue I had with my FS2002 Standard.

I fixed the problem by switching on the filtering option in the display settings.

Go to DISPLAY SETTINGS - HARDWARE - FILTERING and tick the Tri-Linear Filtering.

Give that a go, if your system won't handle in, reduce it to Bi-Linear Filtering.

If this doesn't work, the only other thing I can think of is that some third party scenery files require the default senery to be installed, they just overlay each other.
Explore your FS CD and locate the scenery files and copy them to your FS scenery directory, then add your scenery files 1 by 1 or set by set until you find wich set/file is causing the problem.

Or

Maybe someone else has a better suggestion...........

Good luck

I suspect that you're missing some textures. Make sure you installed the necessary 3rd party texture sets to the FS2002\Texture folder. The most common examples are the Airport, VOD & Nova textures + Gerrish Gray's tree library (Release 3).
