I am having trouble installing the C-5 (file RLADSC-5).

I am follwing the installation instructions. Gauges in main gauges folders, everything else in aircraft folder.
That seems to be the standard procedure, according to everything I have read on installation.
What am I missing?
I am runing WinXP.

Create a folder and name it: RLADSC-5. Make sure you have in this new folder:

model
panel
texture
texture.white
aircraft cfg file 13kb
lockheed-martin c-5 air file 14kb

Then copy this folder to your fs again it should show up

Clarification.... please, copy to main fs2002 flolder?  or too aircraft folder?

Paste it into FS2002\Aircraft.

There should be no need to mess around creating folders. Right-click on the zipfile & select the WinZip "Extract to Folder ......" option. Now open the extracted folder & identify the "Aircraft Container" folder (containing the usual Model, Panel, Sound & Texture subfolders).
Paste the Aircraft Container direct to FS2002\Aircraft.

PS. I just downloaded this file to check it out. It seems the Sound folder is missing which is the most likely cause of your problem. The easiest way to fix this would be be to copy the Sound folder from the default B737_400 & paste it into the Galaxy.

I had followed the directions  directions as posted here on how to install an aircraft.
I will add sound as see what happens.

I was trying to keep this simple & forgot the 747 & 777 are aliased already.

PS. The FS2002 default B737_400 Sound folder is 6.3 Mb.

Sorry, if you have seen my posts before, you know I am a lazy idiocic poster, so I wouldn't dare look up the file size lol. Indeed, the 777 and 747 files are aliased, so no task there, though I suggest you read the tutorial to learn how to do it later, it is a vital task when you want to alias to a third party aircraft. (I mean seriously, if I had a different panel folder for all 37 747s I have, my HD would freak!)
