Where are my gauges?

Ok, I have been downloading aircraft all day and checking them out. The only ones that I have been keeping are the ones that "self extract?" themselves. The ones that I do manually have no gauges, just big black circles in the panel. I have the aircraft and all that stuff ok, but my gauges do not show up in any of them. I open two "Windows Explorers" and click and drag from my temp folder to the main FS2002 folder. I put the aircraft in the main FS2002 folder and that works. What do I do with the gauges. I have no clue. Any replies will help. Thanks a lot!

Read this one and follow britannia's link.  Essentially, you need to put the gauges in the fs2002\gauges folder.

Ok, I read that post and went to the main help site, but that doesn't exactly tell me how to get the gauges in the game. I know how to do the aircraft. What do I do differently with the gauges? Thanks again!

If a 3rd party aircraft has its own panel any extra gauges should be included. These will usually be in a folder or zipfile named Gauges or similar. To install the gauges open this folder, select all files/folders & paste them into FS2002\GAUGES. Do NOT overwrite existing files/folders if prompted.

PS.3rd party gauges might be in various different formats but will usually have a GAU or CAB file extension. CAB files look just like zipfiles. Do not extract them or they will not work.
