Fs2002 plane prob.... Hagar!

Hi all, I have two sort of related problems. No.1 is that I have tried to change the Piper cherokee from AI to player. I changed the number in AirEd and it showed up in the menu. Well, in CFS1 that is all you needed, but this plane just crashes straight off. I have tried to raise it and replace it on the ground with slew and the same happens. If i set the height to 3000ft it spins and the panel (Mooney Bravo) blacks out. I can't even start the engine.
Problem No.2 Is that I d/l a J3 Cub from here and with auto rudder ON it taxis fine. Reach 40 knots ASI and an uncontrollable swing to the right develops, much more than ANY plane i have flown. Get it up and it flys for about five seconds before you HEAR a rrripping sound and it just drops. Given a start of height and its fine.
Has any1 gott any ideas PLEASE.....

Yo whassup. I think I can fix the first problem for you. All you have to do is copy the Boeing 737 .air file and paste it into the folder of the piper. You don't have to use the 737 .air file, mind.

As for your second problem, I have the same thing. I downloaded a plane that 12.5mb in size and when tried to fly it, it just kept turning to the left and it wouldn't stop!!!

Hi Dan. Sorry I missed this.

All you have to do is copy the Boeing 737 .air file and paste it into the folder of the piper. You don't have to use the 737 .air file, mind.

First of all. Asda. The Boeing 737 AIR file will be no help at all. I don't know where you got that idea. ???

Dan. I suspect your real problem is your joystick. From what you're saying you have no separate rudder. This would make all the difference. IMHO
Try recalibrating the joystick & adjusting the sensitivity settings if necessary.
The default AI drones were never intended to be player flyable & don't perform too realistically. It might be best to look round for 3rd party examples.
