FSNav 3.0

Postby chief1995 » Wed Nov 19, 2003 12:35 pm

I have been using freeware FSNav 3.0 and patch for Fs2002. Its been working fine for months. But lately when I try to open it up, all it does is flicker in background. I have always hit f9 then ctrl f9 and had no problems.
Any ideas? And please dont tell me to go and get the payware version. ( that is the obvious answer), but 3.0 has worked in the past, so I would like to solve this problem.

Thanks All.

....Freeware FS Navigator... ???.....?
I didn't know there was any such thing... ::)...!

I am amazed that you got it to work at all... :o...!
The rest of us have purchased the program to obtain the key to un-lock it...!
I have it running successfully in FS 2000, FS 2002 and FS 2004 at the present.

Yes, you can get a trial version. I had it until I bought it.  It runs for like 12 times or something like that.  His problem is not that it stopped working due to the trial period is over.  When that happened to me , i just got a blank page. He is having video problems.
Suggest a re-install of FS Nav.   ;D

Hi Chief,

Well, I have since a couple of month and I don't think
that the one that we have on simviation is a freeware. I never had any problem with it. If you did'nt take it from Simviation try:

FSNav 3.0 (the one that is still freeware) works in FS2002 also. Press F9, then Control+F9 to see the undocked screen. The only issue that I have come across is that some of the airport ILS and ATIS frequencies are not the same as the ones that FS2002 expects, so if you don't pick up an ILS, you need to check on the world map to confirm that the frequency is right.

Otherwise, works great.

Thanks, Microlight, some didn,t believe that FSNav 3.0 with patch works on FS2002 !
Like I said in my first post, it has worked for me great, until lately I just get it to flicker.  And yes I do the F9 and then Ctrl and F9 and I did uninstall and indatlled agian. Ant way i ahve tried everything, for me now its a challenge, and I will get it to work.

Thanks to all who gave me advise!
