Hi,
While flying the Cessna 172 in Panel OFF Mode (ie only ASI, VVI, Compass, Turn & Slip, Alt visible) the ASI range (450kts) is too large for a Cessna (200kts). I like this veiw for landing but the speed tracking is not good due to this large range. Can this ASI be replaced?

Hi Javed,
You can change that gauge by editing the panel.cfg file
in the.......'fs2002/aircraft/default/panel' folder.
Under the [MiniPanel00] section just replace the 'MiniPanel!Airspeed' gauge (gauge00) with another of your choice. The asi for the cessna is 'Cessna172!Airspeed'.
Leave the '0, 0, 100, 100' as this positions and sizes the gauge.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Hi Dave,
It worked

I closed FS2002 and then re-launched it, and voila, it worked. Thanks. I wont be landing hot or stalling now!

Javed,
Glad to help, sorry I forgot to mention the restart, necessary as it is loaded at start.
Cheers,
