Autosave

I was sniffing around Pete Dowson's site (http://www.schiratti.com) the other day and I came across one of his lovely little utilities called Autosave (file is Autosave.zip).

Here's the solution to those unexpected sim crashes, those interruptions by the wife or kids that caused you to mess up your normally impeccable landing(!) etc etc

It automatically saves your flight every 60 seconds and keeps the last 10 saves in your folder.

If your sim (or you!) crashes, it automatically restarts where it left off - usually only seconds before the 'event' happened. Or if you want, you can 'select a flight' and pick one of the saves - great if you want to practise ILS approaches for example..

It works for all versions inc FS98 - FS2004.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you don't know about it already

;)

I agree - great little utility. Pete Dowson must be a real FS enthusiast!

I have browsed that site but I can't find a link to the autosave application, could someone be so kind to point me in the right direction?

Sorry if I'm being thick ;D

I think I downloaded an autosave module from Flightsim. I love it, and it's saved me from having to repeast lost time more times then I can count

What I like most about it is that you don't notice it's there. I was afraid it would freeze the sim for a second when saving but is doesn't.
