[ATC7]

I recently downloaded an Iberia A320 to FS2002 and it works great. The panel, sound and flying quality is all there. But is there an easy way for a beginner like myself to change the paint job of that specific A320 to one other than Iberia's, say AirCanada for example?

Welcome to SimV, ATC7.

It's not difficult to download additional textures for a plane; there are lots out there. There are just a few simple rules:

1. you need repaints for the specific plane model you have; e.g. if you have the Meljet 777, then only repaints that specify this plane will work with it. This is because the texture mapping is part of the original model in the 'model' folder.

2. follow the instructions with the download. This will normally give instructions for the naming convention of the additional 'texture' folder(s), and the changes you need to make to the aircraft.cfg file for the new texture to be recognised.

I think the A320 that I got mentions something about being a GMAX Airbus A320 by Mike Stone, Im not sure if that helps at all. Meljet doesn't sound familiar.

So then I would have to search somewhere for this type of aircraft I gather?
