Postby jonathan2549 » Thu Oct 02, 2003 1:38 pm

Should I slide it all the way to unlimited. At the moment I'm getting about 30 fps sec. with it on 60 targeted fps. I was wondering if it would help for it  to be on unlimited or set to a certian #
I'm running a

Hi Jon...
I think the general preference is to set the Target Framerate slider to match your highest frame rate for your system, eg: If your highest framerate is 30 FPS then that should be your target framerate setting for maximuim smoothness during the game.. ;D...!
Setting it any higher may result in stuttering as the program is trying to load in data in advance?

Cheers mate... ;)...!

If you're getting 30 fps, I wouldn't bother messing with it, that's pretty good.

I've got mine locked at 60, I think...I usually average in the high 30s to mid 40s....but to be honest with you, it's been so long since I've touched it I really don't know for certain.  lol
Great edit, Bob.
