Many of the add-on aircraft have detailed cockpits and functioning navaids. However, some do not have any way to change the frequency of the Nav 1 and Nav 2 radios. Does anyone know of any way to change frequencies without going to another aircraft, making the change and then going back.

yes! go to a default aircraft (cessna 182 for instance) go to its panel config (open with notepad)and find the window that shows the radio stack ie: bendix king- now copy that window and the lines folowing it to the panel cfg of the plane you want it in. Dont forget to change the window number to the number that is next after the windows already numbered! save the cfg file then go to the plane you did it for. You will find that the bendix king radio stack will pop up along with the ones that came with the plane you have, but thats no problem. You can now change freq's without changing planes. You can also drag the stack you've added to a size you like. Hope this helps. Bill

This is what I do for that circumstance. Find the radio stack section in the aircraft.cfg. It's different than in the panel.cfg. In the aircraft.cfg it specifies whether the radio has standby or only active frequencies. This can determine if your radios work properly.

I wish I had asked about this long ago. It seems a little complicated but I have printed out the directions and am going to give it a try. Thanks
