Okay, here is my procedures list for landing her;
wheels up?
flaps down?
speed 120?
glide path shallow (less than 10')?
throttle back.
hit water!
deploy full flaps, and let her stop.
jump in the water for a nice swim ;D

No problem.

Set prop full forward before landing and use thrust reverse when landed

It's possible to land pretty much anything on water if you're careful enough. The problem, however, is making it stay afloat!

;D ;D ;D  Since I am a big fan of float planes, I try to land everything on the water at some point in a flight just for the fun of it.  What you stated zcottovision is sooooo true.  lol  I usually end up with a big "Splash".

I, too, try to land everything in the water, but I usually just "touch-and-go" and get back in the air.

I've even gone to the extent to create extra aircraft.cfg files with floats added for every aircraft in my hangar!  A P-51  looks kind of odd floating on water . . .

;D ;D ;D  Now thats very interesting.  I usually just try to see how long I can stay afloat.  Can you put floats on a 747?

Splash ;D ;D ;D

Absolutely! I add four float points to the bottom of the jet, and then two on the outermost engines for balance.  A little tricky if you have crash damage on, but it really looks cool when you pull it off . . . ;D

I'll try to get some screenies of this stuff soon.

this is from the manual!

Wherever you want to go today, the Cessna Caravan can get you there. First introduced by Cessna in 1985, the Caravan was designed to land nearly anywhere, on land or water.

There are 2 versions of the Cessna Caravan in FS2002 Pro. The C-208B Grand Caravan is the landplane version. The Caravan Amphibian can operate from land or water.
