Help changing waypoints

Postby gilbates » Fri Aug 15, 2003 2:45 pm

Hi guys

i`m getting into on-line flying more and more but find more questions than answers sometimes

my latest is this

normally i use fs2002 pro to plan my journey ,  high alt IFR routes but now i`m a bit more savy i have checked places on the net for more accurate routes , which differ from the ones in fs2002 pro

i cant seem to find the vor`s and intersections mentioned from the web latest routes and therefore cant change my flight plan way points to match

surely theres no point in filling a flight plan with accurate up to date points , when your plane is going to be on autopilot following a different route put together from 2002 pro

does this make sense

any advice would be appreciated

the autoroute system is a little flawed, use FSNavigator (greedware)
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

I do believe we have a demo version available here in the utilities downloads. It can only be used 20 times or some such, but see how you get on with it.

Consider this: The navaids for FS2002 are almost 2 years old, and in the real world they update the AIRAC cycle (flashy name for navaids  ;D ) every 4th month (or was it week, lol) I believe. So it's only logical to assume that many waypoints, jetways have been changed/deleted etc.

I HOPE they have updated the navaids in FS2004, so I'm not stuck with the same old as in FS2002?  :(
