Golden Eagles Custom Classics

Postby Sock » Wed Aug 13, 2003 10:27 am

I downloaded all five of them, and I am very pleased with them, except for one.  The Tiger Moth.  When I fly it, I can't close the hood or those little doors on the side of the cockpit.  If I hit Shift-E to close them, a pilot apears but nothing closes.  If I hit / to make the pilot disapear or reapear, a cover for the cockpit apears.  I'd like to know how to fix it because I want to fly this little bird bad, and I want it to look nice too.  Can anyone help?

Have you tried the multiple exits?  Like Shift-E and then quickly hit 1,2,3 or 4?  Also, some aircraft have the door and other things linked to different functions, like the tailhook and wing folding and other stuff.  Try playing around with the different aircraft commands and see if anything happens.

Yep you were right.  It turned out to be Shift-E then 2.  Thanks again.

That Tigermoth is a great model, but I still can't close the cockpit doors or engine cowling. All I get for pressing Shift+E+2 is the radio stack.

Then you're trying to push the 2 too quickly.

Where can I get these?  The Golden Eagle site says they have been uploaded to major sim sites but I can't find them anywhere.  Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
