MultiPlayer ?

I've had MS FS2K2 for over a year now and never tried the multiplayer option.
I've got CFS2 and CFS3 and never have a problem getting online with either of them.
My situation is that once I've logged on to a good IP address I get a chat window but the scenery I see is always the last flight I flew offline.
Do I need to do something to fly at the same place that everyone else is at or should the sim automatically go to that scenery.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Honestly, I'm not much of a Multiplayer fan, but you should EITHER try...

Gamespy Arcade. Keeps track of all your games, and whatever ones have on-line capability. (Nice thing)

and Vatsim. A very realistic type of online flying. You start off regular, but it joins ATC (real people with ATC sim) with pilots, to make a realistic flight.

Or, if you just use multiplayer, ask where they are, if they're people in it. And just go to the airport, and you should see they're name.

Online airplanes, look pretty crappy. No wheels, no fan blades, no rotating, or moving anything. Atleast you can talk to em.

Hope this helps.

200th post! hooray!

If you're looking for something "gamey" I can't help you, but if you're looking for realism, go to VATSIM.  Live ATC...yah budday....

Torque, unlike the CFS series, the host does not set the scenery for everyone in the game. You must create a flight at the place everyone is flying at. Just ask them in the chat window what airport they're at.

Thanks for your replys, that was the problem not going to the airports others were flying at.

Some of the planes have LG and some don't.

I hope M$ fixes that problem, and I hope they went into a little bit more detail of going to the airport yourself even though some else is hosting the game.

Yeah, I'm a dummy sometimes.

Again thanks. ::)
