DirectX 9b

Has anyone downloaded this and noticed any improvement in FPS? Just downloaded it, haven't installed it yet, thought I'd see whether it's worth it!

Where did you get it?  I have a lower version (unsure which) and I would like to upgrade.

Hi all

Just a reminder, if it ain't broke leave it at as is.  How many times have we installed the new dx version to suddenly find things go bandy or don't work at all.
There's no point risking meltdown for a few frames more.
I've just built my new system and I'm waiting for my new Ati card to arrive, for the moment I'm on my old voodoo 2, FS said it would run in safe mode, but I've whacked up the settings and wow i'm not complaining, 30 frames per second, not bad.

Well don't bounce on landing   ;D

Cheers
Phil
