I have an ATI Rage P/M Mobility for a laptop with a P3 800 Mhz.

Ive tried messing around with the setup resolution and display settings already. Do you think I should contact Microsoft?

Since the general theme of most replies here tends to be "What kind of video card do you have", I am going to break down and ask, revealing loads about myself.

How exactly does one find out what kind of graphics card they've got?  I ordered my PC from Dell, and pretty much just got a standard box with a little increased RAM and speed...don't at all know what card I've got in there.

Any suggestions?

Fozzer--

Did that, then went to Display, and this is what it says:

Name:             Intel(R) 82845G/GL Graphics Controller
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip Type:      Intel (R) 82845G/GL Chip
DAC Type:       Internal
Approx.           Total Memory: 48.0 MB
Current Display Mode:  1024x768 (32 bit)(75Hz)
Monitor:          Dell E771a

Is that the info I need?  And if so, how bad is it?  lol

LOL thanks Foz...

I have to admit, when I purchased the PC, I was in the middle of a lapse in F$...I hadn't really used it much, other than a few times I'd screw around with 98.  But then shortly after I bought it, I got my hands on 2K2 Pro, and have found myself wondering why I ever let myself get out of it.

But to be honest, I'm getting some very good graphics out of it, I'm wondering what differences I'd see with a new video card.  Are there any before and after screenies around?

Yeah, I tried that once before, but I'm a very simple lad, and I must have done something incorrectly.  lol  As for FPS, I know that I generally get in the neighborhood of 30 FPS, which I know is pretty good....

I'll work on it this afternoon/evening though, since I took a half day off to enjoy the sunshine!  ;D
