Normally you're supposed to use RW9, at KATL, and use the aproach plate included. But using weather, there was a wind, out of the East, so ATC vectored me to RW27, instead, and set me up on a left base for 27. Except, the angle they put me at, to intercept the ILS was somewhere around the inner marker, and that didn't allow me enough time to get down from 7,000 ft. without doing some aerobatics, so I had to go around, and make a right base aproach to 27, from 3,000 ft.
Anyway, this is just another scenario that could have been fun had ATC been able to react correctly to the flight plan deviation.

Oh well. It can only get better from here.
