Ok so we have all seen the list of those extremely insane airstips placed throughout FS. I am an avid fan of the Lockheed Constellation, and recently Connie and I have agreed to make a trip around the M$ world. Last Night we began our journey in Seattle WA. from there we flew up the North West Territories and decided to lay over in Junuea AK for the night. To make a long story short. We flown High altitude airways. The approach to Junuea {PJAN} is where the fun begins. There is no ILS and only offset LDA for insturment approach. NP. Wrong about 75nm out ATC set's me up for the visual. And this happens everytime. I tried a few different times. So for a good test of skill, load real weather fly KSEA to PJAN. and make it IFR with real weather got to have those crosswinds. Pick a plane that is big and cumbersome. Follow the approach to 26 given buy your friends at Anchorage Center. And stop that puppy on the 8500' stip of pavement just pass the 6000' drop off. there is the face of the mountain a river and a small field between the side of the mountain and the runway. not to difficult but ATC set pattern altitude at 3200 Think they thought it would be funny to see me crash. Sorry so long. But try if ya watn and let us know what you think!
