I have installed a bigger monitor but in panel view at startup the panel is not going right across the screen it stops about 4 mm short. I expanded the panel and resaved the flight but it makes no difference.
Any Suggestions????????????????

What resolution is your display set at? Sometimes panels are built for a specific resolution. Or is it the default C152 panel? If it is, you could probably just lower the resolution settings on your new monitor.

If you're running at 1024x768, or higher, and your panel was made to view in 800x600, you could see some problems.

???

The old monitor was 800 x 600 the same 800 x 600 settings are on the new monitor. The panel is the default Cessna 182 RG, But it is happening with an aircraft that is set as the startup default aircraft.

Hmmmm....

Have you used the buttons on the front of the monitor to adjust the size and alignment of the screen?

It's a long time since I set up a monitor. As I remember, there are 2 separate options for Desktop & Direct 3D settings. FS2002 (Full Screen mode) works in Direct 3D.

FS Pilot,

Sounds like you have a mismatch between your monitor display setting and your fs2002 hardware display setting.  That particular panel should display at 1024x768 with no problems.

If your new monitor is higher color resolution than your old one (which I'm sure it is), you'll want to take advantage of that by going with 1024x768 pixels or whatever your graphics card will allow.

In the control panel, set the monitor resolution to 1024x768 and then open fs2002 and go to display settings.  Under "Hardware," set the resolution to 1024x768 also.  This should solve your problem.

Good Luck! :)
