Definitely sounds like a great system, although personally (if financially possible), I'd toss a little extra RAM in there, just for effect.  lol

I'm not sure which Saitek stick you're referring to, but I use the Saitek X-45, and LOVE it.  It's not a yoke  :'( but it's a GREAT stick/throttle.  I absolutely love the throttle portion...both are very smooth movers, if you know what I mean.  And the buttons on them...I've often found myself thinking, "But I don't have anything else to assign!"  lol

Good luck!

You could probably save the extra hundred bucks and get the RAM and install it yourself. RAM is really cheap, now, so you can get way better deals from like CompUSA, or Crucial.com. CompUSA had rebate deals on a lot of their stuff. And it's really easy to install at home.
Maybe worth checking into.

Good point Fisharno....I got my RAM upgrade from Dell, but only because that's where I got the PC from...they were running a deal on RAM and I got 512mb for $150-ish.  (Which brought me to 640mb where I am today.)

As for installing it, it LITERALLY took me longer to open the case than it did to install the chip itself.  It just snaps in.

Hmmmm.

In case no one else has touched in the subject, you will probably need more RAM.  Minimum 256 MB.  Preferably 512 MB or higher.

I'd hate for you to invest a chunk of money and wind up back where you started............

One thing to check is the sound card issue.  If it has integrated sound on the motherboard I understand that sometimes it causes problems.

GO to the hardware form and look at the postings there before you plop down the bucks.

best,
