hi everybody!

i've got a problem with my favourite aircraft, the IFDG Dornier 328.
every time,i want to start the engines,i only have a time window of ten seconds to do this. otherwise ,the battery is depleted and i can't start her up anymore. i tried it with every electricity consumer switched off (e.g. lights),but it doesn't work.
so i wanted to ask,if someone could tell me how to edit the battery's "strenth".

any help will be appreciated.

greetz, ATI

FSUIPC has a setting that will keep the battery from draining but purists might consider that cheating.

Bjorn I haven't tried this personally, but if you open up the aircraft.cfg file you'll find a bit called ELECTRICAL, and in there is STARTER followed by 4 sets of numbers, try fiddling around with those.

I've noticed similar problems with many other aircraft.  It's stupid.  A battery on a real-life general aviation airplane will power everything (except the starter--that'll drain the battery FAST) for 45 minutes or more, so turning on the master and radio and listening to ATIS for a minute shouldn't cause the battery to die
