2K2 Price?

Postby Scottler » Mon Jun 30, 2003 12:54 pm

I hope that some of SimV's newer members don't take offense to this, I honestly don't mean it the way it sounds.

But has anyone else noticed the influx of "newbie questions" (relatively speaking, of course)?  I'm wondering if, with CoF on the horizon, 2002 is priced way way down like usually happens when a new edition is released.

Anyone know what it's going for retail in the states?
Great edit, Bob.

Hi

Yes I'm a newbie to FS2002 ;D, I originally had 98 but waited for price drop before I upgraded.
I'm in UK the price was originally

Ok sorry...as I said, I didn't mean to "slam" newbies as it would most definitely sound.  We were all new once, I'll be the first to say that and add on that I'm hardly an expert myself.  I just wondered if I was the only one who seemed to notice an increase in "entry level" type questions, and if that was the case, why that was.

Trust me when I say I'm not here to try to start an issue...

It does seem to come in waves I've noticed over the past year. There is one or two months when we get lots of new members, then it quietens down then picks up again. This is a good thing though as it means we're constantly getting fresh blood, and we're always on our toes ready to leap into action to help one another, whilst building up a v.sound knowledge database from a wealth of different people.

I am not a newbie to FS, but I like to read their questions.  The reason is, sometimes I maybe able to assist them to the level of oldbie or they may ask a question I never thought to ask before.  This way we are all learning something new or re-learning.....

Bring on your questions and comments, newbies or oldbies, it doesn't matter.  Because where the rest of the world may not understand the addiction to FS, here at simviation, we are all family.....awe....
