Unfortunantly, The checkrides are full of bugs. If you have a copy of FS2000 still hanging around, you can pass it's checkrides ;)

It can be done, just keep trying. :D First b4 you take of adjust the pitch forward 10 degrees, this makes it easier to control when u get to 2000 ft. once at 2000 ft reduce power to two thirds. get straight and level first theres no rush. turn left and bank 45 degrees, take it easy and watch the vertical speed indicator as it falls start pulling back to keep it level, as you go round its important to increase power slightly to keep you from falling out the sky, its all part of the manouvear. 10 degrees from East level out hopefully your still around 2000 feet and she'll say "good job" and point you to the airfield at 120 degrees. Oh its the airfield the other side of the river not the one by the bridge as I found out. Best luck Phil.

The hint leaves me wondering.........isn;t 40-50 degrees a little too steep for a cessna? that wouldn't be a test, that would be an airshow

That's why it's called a steep turn....

Of course not! I've put cessnas in 60 degree turns before ;D

I'm sorry to say I gave up in disgust early on in the flight training so be warned there is an unlicensed pilot out there somewhere in the world who may just land at YOUR airport :o

Yeah, just watch what aiprt you land at.  Fly past the small one on the hill. ;)

I couldn't do the instrument checkride either...I can do the ILS approach fine, but once that gets called off I get lost...LOL. ;D  I'll have to go over all the lessons again and get it.

Once you've been told to "Go around" and miss the airport just keep flying straight on until you reach the PARKK outer marker she then tells you to head turn on a "radial 260" i think it was, but basically just turn around and head back to the SEA VOR and she then tells you to head for the NOLLA LOM for the ILS approach, which is where she bails out on me. :-/

P.S. does anyone know if theres a "Speak up women, I can't understand a word your saying" button. ::)
