Please can someone help me with the autopoilt.  

1 if you have made a flight plan can you set the A P to take off and land the aircraft without you having to do anything. If so how do you do this.  Please can someone help.  I love flight sim but have no ID what the hell I am doing half the time  ;D.

Well what's the fun of setting everything and then just sitting back and watching?  I can get that on Discovery Wings!  lol

No, you can't do that anyway, my advice would be to learn from the ground up (no pun intended).  Start with the smallest plane around.  (Slightly larger than a bicycle, if possible.)  Learn the basics on that, then move up to the next part.  

And you can always ask people here how to do things.  They're very willing to help.

Look around the web for Tutorials and "How-To's" on Flight Simulator topics. There's tons of sites around with very helpful information. This is a very good place to start.

Ok, here's how to create a flight plan. Under the create a flight tab on the FS menu page, set your aircraft, take off time, and weather. Now you'll see a "Create Flight Plan" tab below time I believe. Now you can create a flight plan.
You'll see two airport select boxes. The top is your start and the bottom is the destination. Once you've put keyed these in you can select your method of getting there. You can select a variery of options from here. Start by selecting your method of ATC. You'll see a VFR (Visual Flying Rules) button and an IFR (Instrament Flying Rules) button. VFR lets you fly the aircraft freeflight while IFR lets the ATC direct you to your destination, like the real airliners.
Now you can select your method of getting there. You'll see options in a box like "Direct GPS" and "VOR to VOR". Direct GPS is the the fastest way.
Now the button next to the previous box allows you to compile and display your flight plan. You can select altitude to fly at (IFR only) and put in stops.
Now save your flight plan and click "Fly Now". Your GPS will load the flight plan automatically. The Flight log under the file menu (Press alt to bring up toolbar) will give you an estimated flight time and total fuel needed.
Autopilot is up to preference unless flying IFR. Consult the FS manuels and help files for information. Be sure to select GPS using the Nav/GPS toggle switch to load your flight plan into plane's the Nav computer.    

Haven't read it all, but to an extent you can take off (then engage the autopilot), you can fly the whole route with autopilot (via GPS) and you can land with the autopilot, but all of this still requires (at some point) input from you, the pilot!
