Instrument Check Ride can be DONE!

Postby morota » Fri Jun 20, 2003 8:39 pm

I have just done that checkride for Instrument Rating and I passed it. I saved a screen shot of it in word2000 but I don't know how to get it here to prove it. Any suggestions on how I can do this

copy the image, go to your photo editor, past the image, save the file with as *.jpg image and go to http://www.simviation.com/yabbupload.html to upload the image, follow the instruction and it will be no problem.

I know it can be done, because I've done it ONCE...it's just ALMOST impossible, not completely impossible.  lol
Great edit, Bob.

Well done Moe, was it how you suggested in my Nolla Lom query. ;) . Now on to the next exam. I Can't get this either, it's just a straight take off, head for a vor with a few instrument failures  and then an ILS landing.  Well I did the most spot on landing ever in history, lined up perfect just reduced power and the plane fell right onto the tarmac, he then said I had more than 10 deviations of course  :-/ - he must be joking surely. :-[
Tower : Flight 2-0-9er, you're cleared for take off.
Oever : Roger!
Murdock : Huh?
Tower : L.A. departure frequency 1-2-3 point 9er.
Oever : Roger!
Murdock : Huh?
: Re-quest Vector, over!
Oever : What?

;D Yes Phil. The only thing I did different from what I posted was change my course to 323 degrees from sea vor and followed it to NOLLA and did a slow drop to 2200 ft  from 3000ft before reaching the 12.3 nm on the published approuch for 13R. When I hit the outer marker at Boeing FLD I turned 265 right away. :D

Moe;

I have a uncle named Maurice,
a decorated WWII vet, came home
after the war, went to college, great
football star, gave his whole life to
education, 45 years teaching, now on
the Arkansas State Board of Education!
The funny part is he quit school, lied about
his age and joined army when he was 16,
came home from the war, strait to college
It took them 40 years to find out, No high school
deploma ::) He had to get a GED at the age of 66
Anyone gives you a bad time about your name, will
answer to the X!!!Image

Thanks X... ;D

I bet he was proud of himself after all that was done with. ;) I know I was when after dropping out of school @ 15 and then going back to school @ 38 and getting a Grade 12 Diploma.

You should be proud of him too ;)
