NOLLA LOM instrument flight check
Hi, I know how you hate those flight schools
. But I'm desperate to know how anyone passes the instrument flight check. I do everything up to being told to head for the Nolla Lom and enter the published approach for the ILS landing to 13R. I've studdied the charts, maps and landing procedures as your told, and every time I get set up to do my landing at the correct heading, speed and height, SHE FAILS ME. or has she parachuted to safety..... :-/
If anyone can help big thanks and a beer.
Cheers
Phil

After I pass the PARKK NDB she say's to turn left and follow the 140 degree radial to sea vor,
and then she bails out :'(

. So I did some reading into the programing of the check ride and here is what I think we have to do. First while you are doing the published approach for ILS Rwy 13 R Boeing Field you have the ILS tuned in to NAV 1 but you have to go over the NOLLA NDB, then you have 30 seconds to turn outbound to 265 degrees, watch your distance, you can't get outbound more than 10 NM of NOLLA and you are on a timer of 180 seconds from your turn to 265 to your turn for the localizer so watch your speed, and keep in mind that if you go THROUGH the Localizer on the inbound it will be an automatic fail.
While you are on Final your course cannot deviate more than 4 degrees on either side of center on the Localizer. I'm going to go and try it again now so I will let you know what happens.
