Project AI will do a great job setting up traffic for you automatically provided you download the auto-installer and use the *.pai airline packages. The old installer format is a little more complicated and you should probably wait until they update those.
You will still need to increase your parking with AFCAD. You can easily do this manually or find AFCAD files for download at avsim.com for flightsim.com that are made for increased parking and better runway flow. These are text files that are imported and then saved. Stay away from overlays unless you really enjoy spending time on AI.
As far as the AI planes that you have ready to go, they need flight plans. You can sub them into one of the default AI flightplans, create some from scratch, or download them from the sim sites. They are in text file format. TTools decompiler will give you 3 text files (aircraft list, flightplan list, and airport list). You add your new planes to the list like the instructions say, add the new flightplans, and then recompile. You should read through the TTools readme to see the correlation between aircraft and their respective flightplans.
