Flying Online

There's been a couple of posts in the last few days, about VA's, and other flight groups.
The chances of getting a few folks together that share the same enthusiasm for a particular style of flying are slim, at best. It's hard starting and running a VA.

What's your opinion?

I'm not a VA man myself. To sane and sensible. Maybe I'll setup a Virtual stunt school when I get some time...
Having been online with both Rifleman and Fozzer (we learnt the hard way together with online work! I still owe him a v.good bottle of Hungarian vino :)) I can say that flying with friends is the BEST!
Fozzer taught me so much about the Beech BoysCraft scene on the W.Coast, and showed me in FS2k2 that there are places that I have pictures of me visiting as a child. Awesome.
As for Rifleman, the man has nerves of steel! Anyone that stunt flies 747s with me deserves a VC and a strait jacket!!!
Its a great bonus to the whole experience to be online in the manner of a chatroom whilst flying together. I recommend it. If you haven't done it download FSHost here on the utilities page and setup a session. Awesome isn't the word.

Ozzy ;D

I have a very good friend in Toronto, with whom I have done a bit of online flying and all I can say is that it heightens the experience so much to do things in this manner.

I fly on the Bushnet server with the group there. We've even done SAR missions and other cool stuff. Loads of fun!! 8)

If you're interested head over to the Avsim forums, you will find it ;)
