Howdy:
I have uploaded the first three "starter kits" of my AI helicopters project to hovercontrol and simviation. The remaining four kits will follow within a few days.
For more information and feedback, please visit the AI helicopters support forum: at

Hi:
just uploaded the remaining four Starter Kits to hovercontrol and simviation; they should be available later today or tomorrow.
The seven kits bring the total to 27 different chopper models and 40 locations; should be enough to keep people busy for awhile ;-)
That's it from my side - please make your own heliports and flightplans available to others and announce these and other contributions in the AI Helicopters forum at hovercontrol.com. That's also where I will post patches, if required.
Good luck with all the downloading and installation!
Cheers, Holger

Awesome looking addition! Complex looking docs but I'm sure it's not that complicated ;)
The whole idea is great. I've been waiting for this for a long time :D I'm sure it will be worth the extra surfing to get the files.
Congratulations on a splendid task! It's a shame only gmax aircraft look right in AI but that's the way it is.

Errm. What about FSDS2? All animations function in AI just the same as Gmax aircraft if that's what you mean.
PS. Sorry Holger, I didn't mean to criticise your project. It's an original idea. Well done.

Are the airport co-ordinates for the Airports.txt (TTools) available anywhere, or have I missed something in the documentation?
Perhaps I need to take another look......

Hi all:
thanks for the kind words. Yup, it takes a while to get everything set up but once you get the hang of it it's more tedious than complicated ;-)
To get the airports recognized by TrafficTools, run CollectAirports.exe after AFInstaller. It's part of Version 1.3.3 and very nifty - no more hand-editing of the airports.txt file.
Yes, some FSDSv2 choppers do work and are included, such as Jordan's Schweizer 300 and AirCrane. Others don't work because their dynamic features interfere with the visual model in AI mode.
For more infos and updates, visit the AI helicopters forum at hovercontrol.
