No Throttle control

I don't know what the problem could be, but I can no longer control the throttle on any of my aircraft. I have a Sony VAIO computer with a P4, 2ghz processor, and plenty of ram. The first time it happened was a few months ago. Drove me nuts, so I deleted FS2k2. I then reinstalled and everything seemed to be OK. That lasted for about a month. Now, I'm right back to the same problem, NO THROTTLE CONTROL! I am using a Microsoft ForceFeedback II controller. I am not new to FS as I have gone thru FS98, 2k, and 2k2 and am waiting for 2k4. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, what can I do to correct it, (other than dynamite). :-/

Are you 200% sure you've calibrated the joystick correctly? Also, try unplugging the joystick and using keys. F1-4 control throttle.

Check the assignments to make sure you've still got it mapped to the throttle lever.
It would be useful to know if F2 and F3 still work on the keyboard. If so, it would seem that it's the joystick or it's configuration at fault. Try configuring it via FSUIPC.

Thanks guys. Never would have thought of that. I unplugged the joystick and re-plugged it and it works!! Will have to remember that next time. Again, thanks.
