Seward AK

I do not know if the Seward Alaska Airport is really like I am seeing it. I have the Mesh installed and do not know if you will see the same. Or if I am just getting a distortion.

But it is really wild. One end of the runways terminates into a 1000 ft cliff - up - not down. Both runways run in a crevasses that are at about a 20 degree angle with a huge monlith between them. Essentially a "V" canyon with vertical walls and no manuevering room.

I crashed a bunch of times. Gave up trying to clear the cliff so tried a light slow flying bi-plane and tried to make the turn to fly out over the other runway. Can be done, but is difficult.

Your plane spawns at the seashore end of the runway facing the cliffs. Too much of a challenge to simply taxi to the other end and turn around.  ;D

What mesh are you using?

It's your mesh.

It's actually a nice airstrip (not been there before) . At the far end of the runway there are a couple of mountains but easily distant enough not to be a problem. There's also a valley between them in the default.

That is as I suspected. One of the vertical walls has a small pond on it. So I guess it is just a conflict in altitude between the USA mesh and the runway altitude set by MS. That's OK though - it makes for a fun challenge.  ;D
